By using lithium instead of traditional lead as the storage medium, you get massive weight savings on top of the already very high power output. At up to 50% smaller than conventional batteries, the lithium-ion battery is still extremely robust and impact-resistant. Of course, our battery comes with an intelligent BMS – a smart battery management system that protects against overcharging, short circuits, deep discharge, and extreme temperatures.
